Pilot program enrollment
Classes begin 2nd monday of every month
STEPS TO ENROLL
#1 – Contact an Admissions Representative
Connect with an Ignite Flight admissions team member for program details and available start dates.
#2 – Arrange Funds
We have partnered with the Meritize Platform to provide our students with financing options to fund your education. Financing is available with approved credit.
#3 – Schedule a 1st Class Aviation Medical Exam
You will need a medical certificate before you can enroll in your program.
#4 – Reserve Your Start Date
Our Pro Pilot Program start dates are the 2nd Monday of every month. A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your place and will be applied to your training costs.
#5 – Begin Your New Pilot Career
Upon reserving your start date, our enrollment team will help you to complete the enrollment process. You will receive part of your Pro Pilot Training Kit in the mail prior to your start date, which will include access to your online course, Ignite Flight merch, and other materials.
Program Prerequisites*
- 18 years of age on or prior to the start date
- United States citizen
- Read, speak, write, and understand English
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an evaluation flight if shorter than 5’2″, taller than 6’4″, or weigh more than 260 lbs (due to ergonomic cockpit constraints and aircraft limitations)
- No aviation incidents or accidents and no FAA enforcement actions
- Pass a TSA background check
- Obtain an FAA first-class medical certificate
- Must be a driven and motivated individual with good moral character
